No coquettish glance or subtle sign is left unshown; when eyes meet with theirs, what wonders are not known!
There is no coquettish glance or hint that is spared; when eyes meet with theirs, what all does not happen!

How could I liken your face to a fresh-bloomed rose? It does blossom, surely, but never quite like this.
How can I compare your face to a fresh rose? A rose does bloom, but surely not as much as your face.

In death's last throes I lie—their coming would be grace indeed; yet let them understand: this dying breath is not a spectacle to see.
I am in the final throes of death, and it would be their favor if they visit. However, they must understand that someone's dying moments are not a spectacle.

If we so much as breathe a sigh, infamy becomes our share; yet even when they commit murder, no whisper stirs the air.
If we so much as utter a sigh, we become infamous, but even if they commit murder, nobody speaks of it.
