Ghazal

जब यास हुई तो आहों ने सीने से निकलना छोड़ दिया

Akbar Allahabadi· Ghazal· 11 shers· radif: छोड़ दिया

This ghazal portrays a state of profound despair and resignation where grief becomes so overwhelming that sighs, tears, and longing cease completely. Using the imagery of a silent wilderness paralyzed by a cruel hunter's arrows, the poet poignantly captures the emotional numbness and complete desolation of the soul.
