ज़-बस-कि मश्क़-ए-तमाशा जुनूँ-अलामत है

ज़-बस-कि मश्क़-ए-तमाशा जुनूँ-अलामत है
कुशाद-ओ-बस्त-ए-मिज़्हा सीली-ए-नदामत है
za-bas-ki mashq-e-tamāshā junūñ-alāmat hai
kushād-o-bast-e-mizhah sīli-e-nadāmat hai

न जानूँ क्यूँकि मिटे दाग़-ए-तान-ए-बद-अहदी
तुझे कि आइना भी वार्ता-ए-मलामत है
na jānūñ kyūñki miTe dāġh-e-ta.an-e-bad-ahdī
tujhe ki aa.ina bhī varta-e-malāmat hai

ब-पेच-ओ-ताब-ए-हवस सिल्क-ए-आफ़ियत मत तोड़
निगाह-ए-अज्ज़ सर-ए-रिश्ता-ए-सलामत है
ba-pech-o-tāb-e-havas silk-e-āfiyat mat toḌ
nigāh-e-ajz sar-e-rishta-e-salāmat hai

वफ़ा मुक़ाबिल-ओ-दावा-ए-इश्क़ बे-बुनियाद
जुनूँ-ए-साख़्ता ओ फ़स्ल-ए-गुल क़यामत है
vafā muqābil-o-dāvā-e-ishq be-buniyād
junūn-e-sāḳhta o fasl-e-gul qayāmat hai
