Tumi Ki Keboli Chhobi

তুমি কি কেবলই ছবি, শুধু পটে লেখা?
ওই-যে সুদূর নীহারিকা, যারা করে আলোর ইশারা—
Are you merely a picture, only painted on a canvas? That distant nebula, which makes a gesture of light.

আমার স্বপন তুমি, জাগরণেও তুমি,
Do you also stay far away alone, like them? You are my dream, and you are present even in my wakefulness.

আমার সকল সাধনার তুমি চরম পাওয়া।
তবু কেন, হে প্রিয়, থাকো অধরা—
You are the ultimate attainment of all my endeavors. Yet, why, O beloved, do you remain elusive?

ধরা দাও, কাছে এসো, ভাঙো এই মায়া॥
Surrender yourself, come closer, and break this illusion.
