1. आदमी आदमी से मिलता है दिल मगर कम किसी से मिलता है

   Meaning: Man meets with man as people often do, yet heart connects with heart among so very few.

2. आज क्या बात है कि फूलों का रंग तेरी हँसी से मिलता है

   Meaning: What wonder stirs today, that the blossom's hue / So deeply resembles the radiance of your smile?

3. कारोबार-ए-जहाँ सँवरते हैं होश जब बे-ख़ुदी से मिलता है

   Meaning: The affairs of the world find harmony and grace, when conscious reason meets ecstasy's embrace.

4. रूह को भी मज़ा मोहब्बत का दिल की हम-साएगी से मिलता है

   Meaning: Even the soul savors the sweet delight of love only through the heart's close companionship.
